KEPERRA PICNIC GROUND PARK

Public BBQ

Keperra Picnic Ground turned out to be one of those pleasantly unpretentious spots that doesn't try too hard to impress. The children's playground draws families like moths to a flame, particularly the water play area that had kids squealing with delight on my visit. While some might dismiss it as "not much of a picnic ground" - just sporting fields and basic facilities - there's something refreshingly honest about a place that delivers exactly what it promises. The toilets are clean and functional, the open grassy areas provide plenty of space for a proper kick-about, and the whole setup has that relaxed, no-fuss Australian charm that makes you wonder why more places can't be this straightforward. Sometimes the best spots are the ones that simply get the basics right.
